2023 Year in Review: Solutions Developed
Oceanside, CA, January 30, 2024. Let’s revisit the highlights and pivotal moments that have made this past year unique. Here is an overview of some of the solutions that have been incorporated into the Sumix product range.
Inspection solutions for anomalies detection for:
- IP-SOLID SC connectors and connectors inside enclosures
- Senko IP MPO connectors in adapters, that can be also used for some other MPO patchcords in patch panels
- Pushlokв„ў cassettes
- MTCOMPACT Slim & Short ferrules
- MMC patch cords and patch panels
- TMT ferrules (12/24 and 16/32 fiber types)
- Amphenol's SIMTac 08 connectors
- Smiths' Light-Conex transceivers.
We have been actively improving solutions for integration in autonomous systems and robotic manufacturing, for which Manta HML microscope modification was introduced. Manta HM fiber inspection microscope can now be used with a Sumix 4.3" smart display for autonomous inspection in the field environment.
Solutions for end-face geometry inspection and anomalies detection for:
- 8- and 16-fiber SN-MT connectors and ferrules
- 16 and 24 fibers MMC patch cords
- TMT ferrules (16-fiber and 12/24-fiber configurations)
- LightABLE Series LGA 28G transceivers.
OCTOPUS 2 robotic interferometric system with multiple adapter types has been introduced for maintenance inspection of multi-termini fiber optic connectors (MIL-DTL-38999 style and similar).
