POLARIS X High-End Microscope system, designed for the critical examination of polished fiber end faces in production and laboratory settings.

MMC connectors (a long active tip for high-density patch panels, tips for inspection of fibers, and guide holes of MMC/APC connectors - for both bulkhead and patch cords);
Full ferrule inspection of 1.25 and 2.5 connectors and termini;
AVIM PC connectors in adapters tailored to custom requirements;
MT APC ferrules in ELSFP host and module connectors.
End-face geometry inspection solutions for:
16-fiber SN-MT ferrules with PC polishing;

Entire MT Ferrule Report Now Available in MaxInspect™
Oceanside, CA, Jun 10, 2024 Sumix introduces an entire ferrule report feature in MaxInspect™ software, ensuring compliance with the IEC 61300-3-35/Ed3 international standard for fiber optic connector inspection.
To get an entire MT ferrule report, you’ll need a Manta-W+ or Manta HM microscope equipped with a levered (L-series) tip that allows you to scan the ferrule from guide hole to guide hole.
Available with MaxInspect software from version 1-2-91 onward, this feature provides comprehensive ferrule scanning for critical fiber optic applications.
New feature of MaxInspect software for Polarization-Maintaining fiber
Oceanside, CA, March 5, 2024 Sumix offers advanced support for Polarization-Maintaining fiber inspection, including automatic angle measurement and custom Pass/Fail parameters to match connector specifications. The new feature in MaxInspect software allows setting custom orientation of individual fiber stress rods for precise control of the polarization direction. This provides full support for all possible configurations of PM fibers, enabling geometry and anomalies inspection according to international standards, thus opening opportunities for manufacturers.
